Polar Prints is the school newspaper for North High School in North St. Paul, Minnesota. There are a few different ways that students can get their work into Polar Prints: they can be Staff Writer, they can take a Journalism Class, or they can be a Contributing Writer.
The Staff Writers meet after school on Thursdays to work on their articles, doing anything from photo taking to interviewing to layout work.
In the Journalism Classes, students learn the basics of how a newspaper works, and they even write their own newspapers to gain experience. Some of the works from these class assignments get chosen to be published in the print edition of Polar Prints, and almost all of them get published right here.
Contributing Writers are the people that would like to have something published in Polar Prints, but are not in Journalism, and cannot come to the after school meetings.
This is just a little bit about us. We thank you for visiting, and hope that you come back often to keep up on the news from North High School and the city of North Saint Paul, Minnesota.
